The Outside World, In and Around Duluth

About

Bryan French

Hey, it’s me!

I work at the University of Minnesota Duluth in the Office of Sustainability, for Facilities Management, and as a volunteer with UMD’s Outdoor Program. I have an MEd in Environmental Education and a BFA in Musical Theatre.

Outside of regular work, I volunteerĀ on the boards of the Duluth XC Ski Club and Hartley Nature Center.

I love getting out and finding pictures and stories of our Northern world, here at the tip of Lake Superior. I believe that our connection to nature is essential, and I try to live those sentiments by getting outside as much as possible, and in all seasons.

I also have a great time learning about all the flora and fauna around us, and this blog is an ideal place to share my discoveries. And hopefully, I can encourage folks to get outside… Outside Duluth!

All photos and text are mine (unless cited) and are under a creative commons attribution, non-commercial license. Share and/or remix, but don’t sell my work. Thanks!
