Bagley Clean Up

Yesterday, the RSOP spent a few hours on cleaning up at Bagley.

I shouldn’t be, but I’m always amazed by the amount of trash we find. And, I always end up a little disappointed with the human species, too.

We found a able of old barbed wire, hundreds of beer bottles, a decomposed recliner, and lots of sleds, aka dining center trays.

The cool thing was coming up on a completely tame pair of deer. I was about five feet from one of them. I know deer are plenty common, but it’s still pretty neat to have some other life form looking you in the eye for more than just a second or two. Our detente lasted about 30 seconds, and they finally wandered off to look for a quieter place.

I wouldn’t say Bagley is clean, but it’s better.
